UNDERWRITING & SPONSORED PROGRAMMING GUIDELINES
As a non-profit LPFM community radio station, WFRC-LP may acknowledge businesses, organizations, churches, and community partners through FCC-compliant underwriting announcements.
Underwriting acknowledgements may include:
• Business or organization name
• Location
• Contact information
• Hours of operation
• Value-neutral descriptions of products or services
• Website or social media information
Underwriting announcements may NOT include:
• Calls to action
• Price information
• Qualitative or comparative claims
• Inducements to buy, sell, attend, or participate
Sponsored programming opportunities may be available to qualified organizations, including local churches and nonprofits, subject to:
• Schedule availability
• Technical standards
• FCC compliance
• Signed programming agreements when applicable
Acceptance of underwriting or sponsored programming does not imply endorsement by WFRC-LP or Fort Recovery Community Radio.
PROGRAMMING & AIRTIME REQUEST POLICY
Organizations, community groups, churches, and individuals may request airtime consideration on The Tribe 107.3 WFRC-LP.
Programming requests should include:
• Organization name
• Program description
• Desired airtime or frequency
• Program length
• Live or prerecorded format
• Contact information
Programming decisions are based on:
• Available airtime
• Community interest
• Technical/audio quality
• Local relevance
• FCC compliance
• Station mission and format compatibility
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval or placement on the station schedule.
WFRC-LP reserves the right to:
• Approve or deny programming requests
• Modify schedules
• Place programs in alternative timeslots
• Discontinue programs that fail to meet station standards or FCC requirements
RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING POLICY
The Tribe 107.3 WFRC-LP and Fort Recovery Community Radio welcome locally focused programming that serves the interests of our community.
Religious programming requests may be considered based on:
• Schedule availability
• Community relevance
• Program quality and technical standards
• Consistency with station mission and FCC regulations
• Availability of volunteer staffing or sponsorship support
The station is not obligated to provide airtime equally to all religious organizations, denominations, or viewpoints. Acceptance or denial of programming requests remains at the discretion of station management and/or the Board of Directors.
Religious programming aired on the station does not imply endorsement by WFRC-LP, Fort Recovery Community Radio, its volunteers, underwriters, or board members.
All programming must comply with FCC regulations and station content standards.
ON-AIR TALENT & SPORTS BROADCASTER AGREEMENT
This Agreement is between Fort Recovery Community Radio / The Tribe 107.3 WFRC-LP (“Station”) and the undersigned broadcaster (“Broadcaster”).
1. ROLE
Broadcaster agrees to serve as an on-air personality, host, producer, or sports broadcaster for the Station on a volunteer basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. FCC & CONTENT COMPLIANCE
Broadcaster agrees to follow all applicable FCC rules and non-commercial LPFM broadcasting guidelines.
Broadcaster will not air:
• Obscene, indecent, or defamatory material
• Hate speech or discriminatory remarks
• Unauthorized commercial advertisements
• False or misleading information
Broadcaster agrees to promote positive, respectful, educational, and community-focused programming.
3. UNDERWRITING
Broadcaster understands LPFM underwriting restrictions and agrees not to air:
• Calls to action
• Price information
• Comparative claims
• Promotional advertising language
4. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Broadcaster agrees to:
• Represent the Station professionally
• Treat guests, listeners, athletes, officials, and community members respectfully
• Avoid conduct that could damage the reputation of the Station
5. EQUIPMENT & STUDIO USE
Broadcaster agrees to use Station equipment responsibly and follow all operational procedures.
6. SCHEDULING
Broadcaster agrees to communicate schedule conflicts in advance whenever possible.
The Station reserves the right to modify schedules or discontinue programming at its discretion.
7. TERMINATION
The Station may suspend or terminate broadcasting privileges at any time for FCC violations, misconduct, policy violations, or behavior deemed harmful to the Station.
